The main reason I came out to New Zealand was to complete a project entitled Characters In The Wind (#CITW). I’ve been out here for three months and it’s now complete! It will be available on May 7th on JesteRantson YouTube! (Subscribe to keep updated! I started out not knowing exactly how I’d direct it. The main script is improvisation, which means the whole project is centered around listening.

Several clips were combined throughout my stay in New Zealand featuring with 7 topics which narrate what these conversations embody. It’s a full 49-minute film because 7×7 is 49.

I’ve been quite surprised at the power of 7. The way 7 is at the center and how anytime I look at my watch it’s some 7 somewhere. 😀

As long as I’ve been here, this projected has taken careful time and creative exhaustion but it’s been worth it.
