Wait (Weigh) The Minute! TyPo Or FaiTh? (Fate)

Wait (Weigh) The Minute! TyPo Or FaiTh (Fate)? IS OUT NOW FOR YOUR LISTENING PLEASURE!

This Audio book is the first of which i’ve ever done and the LONGEST project I created , running in at 2 hours and 12 minutes and 40 seconds! it makes sense it would be about the length of a feature film! this is also a project i’ve been working on for the last 5 years. My first book (Paradise Clarity) is a poetry opus of 460 pages conceptualizing the framework behind my writing since 2013.

Whereas, this book is a recorded notion of my past, present, and future. It speaks to the awareness that comes with being balanced about the things that happen to us on in our journey through life.

This book has 3 narrations : First of which is narrated by Balaam’s Don_Key found the scripture in Numbers Chapter 22 wherein Balaam is stopped in his tracks after his donkey ‘BRINGS HIM TO HIS ATTENTION ON WHERE HE IS GOING. ESSENTIALLY, HIS DONKEY MADE A TYPO* OF HIS USUAL FATE. Secondly, it loosely follows the life of Tomson who grew up in a Pentecostal Holiness Church of God in Christ. Much of which is my personal story (alongside with many who’ve had similar experience with the church.) Lastly, this is an audio search, which attempts to explain the reactions of such dispositions of both the Angle and Angel!

May you enjoy and listen in your own time!

How To Unlock Caterpillar Logic

Growing up in New Orleans for me was a privilege, that I don’t take for granted in my childhood. It meant good food, lively music, snowballs, and a rich culture. It also meant around spring time caterpillars would hang from my grandparents oak trees!

I dreaded caterpillars because they were very thick and sticky. There was often a host of caterpillars all crammed together like a pack of sardines. April and May, in particular, meant caterpillars would be everywhere from the sidewalks, bushes, and my grandmother’s porch. This did not mean much to my grandfather when he’d want assistance in cleaning the sidewalk.

“Come on out here boy, this sidewalk won’t brush itself!!” He’d yell.

“But he’s hysterical of those caterpillars!” Gammie would plead!

I’m thankful my Gammie always had my back and considered how I felt! It is through her care and concern, I never had to help my pops clean around outside during the spring! Luckily, I had a brother who didn’t mind as much! 😀

I never shook my fear of them until I left New Orleans. I didn’t see them at all in Texas although I noticed on occasion, I’d catch small moths and butterflies. I’ve grown to appreciate the caterpillar because of its developmental changes. I reference their process often in my life. Looking back at how afraid I was, I now see a misguided fear. Was I afraid of growing? Could I soon break free from the cocoon? The more I learned about their process, the more I appreciated their relevance in all living existence.

I made a short video breaking down an allegorical connection between caterpillars and the flow of your ideas!

HOW TO HARVEST THE STATIC

I was talking to one of my good friends about my poetry and he started laughing at the thought of some random person reading “hOw To hArVeSt tHe StAtIc“. I couldn’t stop laughing because it’s true. I often come up with the most random titles and I don’t imagine a huge crowd gathering around to bother to understand what I’m saying. It’s a niche market and certainly, some people may find out these things by happenstance. I couldn’t even pretend a huge amount of people would find what I do interesting. Most people tune into the language of opinions that they favor most.

I do try to tag and promote myself accordingly *to help with exposure* but the chances of me getting lost on the web are tremendous. People have a list of many channels in their view. You turn the channel if whatever is on doesn’t provide a source of humor or education. One day you may tune into my channel and hopefully, I’ll have you at the right time. The power of click-bait media transforms who are more willing to watch. It works because people are more prone to watch and listen to something they agree with or are interested in. This is to my disadvantage, however, as I am not fully aware of the tools that can be catchy enough to get people to watch me.

There’s a lot of static going on in my brain. I’ve been reading and listening more to reach a center. We’re all busy and there is always something on our radar – so consider harvesting the static. Gather the silence and who knows, maybe you may liberate yourself from a whirlwind of distractions. It’s often in the distractions, where we find purpose at the center. The roads we didn’t intend, all measure to the exact place we were destined to be. (Sometimes you can accidentally tune in and who knows…)  I can say more, but that’s why I made this video.

The Firey Speck

In a moment where the wind blew
For a brief grievance, my coat tail knew
The fiery dust which embraced my eye
Came to proclaim a message of a thunderous lullaby
To be awake is to steady see
The anguish and anger always sent for me
A song for the hornet and wide winged bat
Inside of my shattered heart, my reaction is a frivolous stat

When the speck hit my eye
I should have washed it out with lye
The burn would have paralyzed my will to see
The dream that this would set us free
But now I’m waking up to be hurt
All of my feelings are stuck in the dirt

For some wish to learn at the university – receiving methods and assignments in strenuous diversity
Others are not for the will to learn from the school book
They rather get it word of mouth from the bell and informed hook
I suppose it matters not where education arrives
For as long as the trail of questions convince our begging lives

When the speck hit my eye
I should have washed it out with lye
The burn would have paralyzed my will to see
The dream that this would set us free
But now I’m waking up to be hurt
All of my feelings are stuck in the dirt

{bridge}
A refrain of speckled puzzles convinced me to see
A dark illumination that’s paralyzed me
If not for the will to sing this song
I’d refuse to believe the dance to belong
The color of a miss-step is the shade of a fading white
No one has to wrestle in the error of the unseen night

A frivolous stat! A frivolous stat! A hornet without honey and wide winged bat! A wide-winged bat!
For seeing without eyes are like bees without honey
A purpose to be drawn without the necessity of money
The speck in my eye became an enlarged reflector
This inspired a pathway to become the most desired nectar

When the speck hit my eye
I should have washed it out with lye
The burn would have paralyzed my will to see
The dream that this would set us free
But now I’m waking up to be hurt
All of my feelings are stuck in the dirt

&AnotherThing…

&AnotherThing… (A series of helpful reminders you may or may not find useful.)

When I was little, I would crush my bag of chips because I felt it would be more to eat later. However, when I got older – I began to understand that no matter how many pieces you make out of one – the same value exists. This encouraged me to embrace the moment of one chip. I now slowly eat one at a time with no need to pour them out or funnel them down my throat. (Plus I make less of a mess) Basically: I could cut the pie in many different ways, but it ain’t gonna get any bigger. Therefore, When I savor the moment, it’s blessed!

&AnotherThing…

If the question is why and the answer is “I DON’T KNOW”. This should be satisfactory enough. You may offer a source who may know but they are coming from the vantage point of the perspective they believe. It’s important to remember people are coming from where they are at (currently) What do you know? Maybe more than I – this is why I prefer to shut up and be the student. Yet, this is what also makes me want to teach and tell what I do know because it may help somebody!

&AnotherThing…

It’s important to keep context in the same place you put your keys or that fresh breath mint. Your pocket. If your context ain’t somewhere close but somewhere more vast – like your backpack or purse, you’re gonna have a longer time locating it. So, now that we got all of the basics out the way:
“Where are your glasses?”
Hmm.
They are exactly where you put them. You’ve been looking everywhere except the most common place we put our glasses when we don’t need them. Not in the pocket or purse but on the top of our heads! Are you really a fool? Bad memory? Nah – it just wasn’t important enough to be taken out and put away. Sometimes shortcuts are actually necessary. *Even if you forgot the most obvious place.*

&AnotherThing…

It ain’t over until you’re ready to leave the party. The older you get, you just don’t fit in. It’s not that you aren’t cool but your jokes are way past the younger crowds head. The music you would bump too won’t be hitting the bass level as present contemporaries. This is when it’s time to leave. You ain’t gotta make a scene but exiting silently is your best bet. No need to embarrass yourself. When the thought suggests: “Maybe I should go home.” Honor that. You can also look at this as a metaphor for death. It’s not to be feared or delayed – everybody gotta leave some time.

&AnotherThing…

Pick your battles wisely. Everything ain’t worth the fight or sweat. If you can get your point across without screaming, cool! But if you end up losing your voice altogether – even better! Maybe that’ll remind you of how much raising your voice in an argument ain’t worth it. Some points are connected but most of the dots get lost in the sauce. You ain’t gotta break your cool – just to defend a point. If you really care – extend the same duty to someone else. They care too albeit from a different perspective.

&AnotherThing…

Some things require a password. If you don’t know the password – you still not gonna get access by making one up. You might need to contact a professional hacker. Although, I’m pretty sure if you are that desperate – you got some shit you need to figure out. Why not create your own account? It doesn’t have to be like you – get creative. Make up some shit, creating characters with their own moods and personalities can be a lot of fun!! WARNING: If you spend too much time on the net, you may fall into the trap of believing what you see. What’s worst, is cat-fishing real people because you stole a real person picture without asking them. May I suggest, using a cartoon for your avatar or a stock photo instead?

&AnotherThing….*Probably the most important lesson*

Somethings are someone’s personal experience. EVERYTHING is not every ones “Thing”. The grace of minding your business blesses you mostly. Why not take this blessing? Interfering with another life is beyond invasive. It’s downright, hubris. There’s enough to handle in your own pyramid. Glasses need to be cleaned. Shelves dusted off. Floors that need a proper shine. In spite, all the work that can be done in your home – why worry about someone else’s yard? What’s the point in getting involved in another’s battle? Why even get upset if you smell herbs that ain’t your own? You can still commit to helping from a distance without in return destroying a village. Do yourself a service and keep it moving!

Access Within Local Community!

What really inspired me about this picture is how community building at our fingertips. I saw it in a local magazine. Even the cartoon figures; as they build the letters. In your local communities, you have access to resources that can help you.

Recently I got a library card and the exhilaration that came with this card excites me.

Books, DVDs, CDs, etc. We have these tools at our access with no fee.

Free Entertainment to explore. Bored? Go to the library for access to hidden and public dimensions. So much to see!

It blows me away to know all of the different points of study in America.

I think of those without the privilege to study and how we’ve been given enough to share. Sharing knowledge and passing along books shouldn’t be a pass time.

Education is important. Self-building through your local community.

Hello!

I have come to say hi – to invite you to a place of welcome.

Exactly – I’m your greeting and I’ve come to eat with you to establish a relationship.

I don’t ask you anything but to lavish into you a divine introduction.

My first and last is to benefit and approve of your presence.

There have been times you haven’t grasped onto my embrace.

I rather awkwardly lurk by your doorstep than to knock because you never seem to welcome me.

I, however, welcome you, with a sincere jubilation.

That’s right – I’m sure nuff the affirmation of your most distant desire.

I am excited to see you and my feet rave to the melody of your song.

My desire is to reacquaint with the question of your reactions.

I am hello and I have never known of a goodbye. My first and last is never low; so high!

Scattered Pronouncement

To thrive on the innuendo and the mystery of “Whatever U Think is True” – abbreviates the undefined.

What this hint describes, ultimately is left to the scattered pronouncement you redeem.

As the documentation suggests, it’s just joyfully understood to be EITHER OR.

You’re either the blood in my veins, or you are Not.

It’s the law between this or that.

‘This and That’ makes our world go around, but it somewhat still puts you in the box and I’m not determined by the method of mineral properties!
Sir Ken Robinson presented wonderful point at a TED Presentation a few years back:
“If you were to visit education as an alien and say what’s it for, public education, I think you’d have to conclude, if you look at the output, who really succeeds by this, who does everything they should, who gets all the brownie points, who are the winners, I think you’d have to conclude the whole purpose of public education throughout the world is to produce university professors. Isn’t it. They’re the people who come out the top. And I used to be one, so there. And I like university professors, but you know, we shouldn’t hold them up as the high-water mark of all human achievement. They’re just a form of life, another form of life. but they’re rather curious and I say this out of affection for them, there’s something curious about them, not all of them but typically, they live in their heads, they live up there, and slightly to one side. They’re disembodied. They look upon their bodies as a form of transport for their heads, don’t they? It’s a way of getting their head to meetings. Now our education system is predicated on the idea of academic ability. And there’s a reason. The whole system was invented around the world there were no public systems of education really before the 19th century. They all came into being to meet the needs of industrialism. So the hierarchy is rooted on two ideas: Number one, that the most useful subjects for work are at the top. So you were probably steered benignly away from things at school when you were a kid, things you liked, on the grounds that you would never get a job doing that. Is that right? Don’t do music, you’re not going to be a musician; don’t do art, you’re not going to be an artist. Benign advice — now, profoundly mistaken. The whole world is engulfed in a revolution. And the second is academic ability, which has really come to dominate our view of intelligence because the universities designed the system in their image. If you think of it, the whole system of public education around the world is a protracted process of university entrance. And the consequence is that many highly talented, brilliant, creative people think they’re not, because the thing they were good at school wasn’t valued, or was actually stigmatized. And I think we can’t afford to go on that way. In the next 30 years. according to Unesco, more people worldwide will be graduating through education than since the beginning of history. [12:27] More people, and it’s the combination of all the things we’ve talked about — technology and its transformation effect on work, and demography and the huge explosion in population.

Suddenly degrees aren’t worth anything. Isn’t that true? When I was a student, if you had a degree, you had a job. If you didn’t have a job it’s because you didn’t want one. And I didn’t want one, frankly.”

Invited Concerns

This week, I had my share of invited concerns due to unilateral wonders but this is how life begins again. I finished my first full week at work today and what I learned is that; making 300+ calls can’t be that bad. Now, being hung up isn’t the nicest feeling, but the predictability of its nature becomes second nature. “Hi, who would I be able to speak to about an ad for ‘X’ high school?” The start of the script is the hardest, because if you loose the beginning, the middle, and the end has no structure. I have worked all my life, and for the most part, I know that working Manuel labor is only for an odd job. Lifting crazy weights and allowing the sweat the drop from your eyebrow is not the ideal sense of occupation for me.

I am all about communication and even if calling these numbers, dance in repetition – it’s pretty obvious this position is in my niche! I know where I am and this field will work well for me. I work with all women and being the only man in a room full of women, makes no difference. The people are nice but for the most part, we are all concerned about pitching calls so that businesses purchase some products for the school.

Now that I have returned to the workforce, my communication has become shrunk to pieces of a letter I intend on writing. All of my codes are welcomed into the system because I have to start somewhere right? Also, as Miss X famously would declare: “MONEY IN DA BANK”! God, knows I need the money, and since the check won’t be disappointing its worth the calls and early mornings. The mornings are the worst part, but I did not realize how much those energy boosters work! Without energy, I am dissolved to very little.  Haha…I need the RUSH!

The mornings are the worst part but I did not realize how much those energy boosters work! Without energy, I am dissolved to very little.

I have turned into scripts made of ache and change and that is a part of life. CHANGES, CHANGES, CHANGES!

Dismissed=iPhone 4, makes communication so much more difficult. I am a social junkie, and while I don’t like spending hours upon mentions on the internet, it was nice to have a load of information in your hands. BUT I’m having to go without for a while, which won’t be too long, but using a keyboarded phone isn’t the worst. It’s just an adjustment for a time, and these are only some of the details of vacancy.

As many things crashed. I was accelerated with emotion knowing my favorite Aunt passed away. I am going to dedicate a blog to her passing after she is buried, as it is too heavy for me to acknowledge at this moment. I feel a sense of relief just releasing some of these inhibitions, one thing that is for certain: Weekends have totally different meanings when you are working and when you spend your time following a flow. Hence, why I am up and alive due to the awakening of some of these invited concerns!

Summarized Notion For Thought: You should not feel like a radio, programming the stations that frequent the waves! Who wants to tune in then? Regardless of sensitive letters and tones of frustration; we are tracked by our respect and mutual understanding!
