August Feels Like Wednesday

You have waited long enough! Here is August Feels Like Wednesday in its entirety complete with narration served by, yours truly. August is almost over –  but you’ll always be able to feast on this throughout all time. It’s an album that covers a host of emotions. It’s better if you just listen and explore all of what this album entails! It’s only 33 minutes and 41 seconds if you want to hear the project complete with narration. The video on YouTube is cheesy and is therefore non-vegan. It’s cheesy because of narration! 😀

If you so wish to buy the album on BandCamp you can do that also! It’s only 7 dollars! This option is actually non-cheesy with no narration 😀

I want to thank everyone involved in this project! I love y’all so much! A special thanks to Mr.Ivory Snow for producing The Velvet Dinner, Engulfing Through, and The Yielding Sacrifice! I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the colors and textures you added in making this project as cohesive and festive to the meaning I intended. You took your time with it and you did not disappoint! Your album Snow is one of the best albums of the year hands down! Everybody support real music by real musicians! He also happens to be a producer, arranger, and one man band and all that jazz! 😀

Jeremy Garner – The magician and musician – I’m so blessed to collaborate with! Thank you for adding your music on Sin, Splash Utopia, and Death Appearing Like An Orgasm! I am entirely blessed at your vision of arrangement and being an instrument allowing the music to talk! Your connection to my words have always created incredible music in such transcending ways! I looks forwards for recording more with you and seeing where your sounds will take you next!

Danny L’Amour – You remain a voice of blessing in my life. I love that we both share the connection of food too! This is why you were perfect for The Velvet Dinner!  I’ll always be thankful for your existence in my life! The pictures you took remind me of what can be known from a moment. Thank you for your voice and hand in everything you do!

There is somebody for everybody! Don’t worry – I got my own aluminum foil to carry if you did not bring it with you! 😀

Thoroughly: Engulfing Through

This is a part of the main course meal on August Feels Like Wednesday. The music that goes alongside with this poetry was prepared with by the incomparable Mr.Ivory Snow!

He did his thing in the kitchen to ensure a savory and flavor full experience along with two other songs that will be heard when the album drops! His talent and ear still astound me to this day! He actually just released a new album entitled Snow not long ago! Check out his Bandcamp page and consider purchasing his work! (You can also stream his album everywhere!) In the age where there is so much being released from various people – we can do our part in calling attention to those who are doing the damn thing!

I am entirely thankful for all of those who have helped me remaster and remix this album in a new light. It goes a long way and I’m entirely thankful that you now have the opportunity to listen!

Like the button is taken through the tunnel of the needle to fasten it down, we go through in and out, back to front, side to side.

We’re all just trying to engulf through but we got to get out shit together.

Earnest & The Helium Balloon

It ‘twas the middle of October, a day, unlike this rest. It wasn’t just the red, orange, and yellow leaves in view that colored excitement in the air. Today was different. Today was the last day of the State Fair.

A time where extroverted girls and boys are filled with anticipation. With plenty to do and plenty to see. This day was guaranteed to feel like the longest day of the year. Earnest waited for this day to arrive. He had dreamed about it for oh so long. As happy as he was – he was also determined to win something. He felt ambition racing through him like warm lights rising from the darkness. He knew he wanted not only to win but to have fun.

Where could he go first? Earnest was as close to his name as one could get. Filled with intention and a pocket of anxiousness – he tried with all of his power to focus. Before he knew it – all time had passed and he had only one game left to play before the fair closed.

Earnest had a lot of fun but very little to none chances at winning – this was his only shot. He kissed his hands as he held the hammer tightly. He wanted to hit the ball as hard as he could so the pinpoint could ring all the way up to a 100 Skies. Bam! He hit – to his pleasant surprise he was only 14 points away from 100. The attendant yelled: “EIGHTY-SIX! Congratulations you won the last red balloon of the evening!”

Earnest snickered with excitement! Not only did he have a loaded time but he finally won a prize worth taking home! Earnest held to the thin rope which held the balloon in place. On his way back home he noticed just how windy the day had turned. The leaves seemed to blow harder while the balloon swayed with it.

Earnest noticed, however, even when the wind wasn’t windy – his new found friend didn’t seem to want to stay with him. He decided he would tie it around his trousers to prevent it from wandering off. As he pulled the balloon closely to him – he held it with both hands lightly as to not pop it. In flash moment, his grip loosened a bit but the balloon nearly flew away. He was convinced it didn’t want to be his friend. The balloon seemed to go up with a force not found in the wind.

He carefully tied a knot on his trousers and hurried home before it could escape again. Puzzled by the floating balloon he searched on the internet about what strange phenomena would possess a balloon to fly away.

He pronounced the words slowly:

H-E-L-I-U-M.

He learned it wasn’t the balloon itself but a chemical lighter than air which caused the balloon to rise. Earnest smiled because he then realized:

Everything ain’t that deep. Sometimes you come to have fun. You might win. You might lose and what you gain can still slip away. Doesn’t mean it has intentions. Life doesn’t have to have a purpose in between your own desires. So come, to the fair for fun – cause if not for fun – what’s the experience for anyway?
