today many folks here and elsewhere will use their social media platforms to ‘reinforce the lie of independence’ ostensibly – known as the 4th of the lie. it’s a lie because there’s no such independence in a fictional country known as the (united snakes of amerikkka)

let the record show further : the only way we can correct a misfortune is to acknowledge a truth. this land (ALL of the western hemisphere) belongs to the native americans indigenous to this land. just because a thief steals something years ago, doesn’t make it rightfully theirs. no matter how much propaganda tells you otherwise. there is work being done in effort to achieve this reality and one day they will get their land back! (same for Africa, and any other land held hostage by neo-colonial rule)

im currently here in : Houma and Chitimacha land here in New Orleans, La. the app ‘Native Land’ helps keep you up with what land you are currently occupying.

so yes, this is why we struggle with folks. everyday capitalism uses the mainstream media to feed the masses the lie ‘that america is a place representative of freedom and democracy.’

we all seem to know, that history isn’t so distant from the past, but we are largely left to believe otherwise. we are groomed to view america as the nation that produced the heroes. which means the pen will reflect the institutional justification for violence such as slavery and war, as a means to bring ‘peace’ to those savages and the enslaved.

the television / media industry is used to propagate this propaganda.

the church is used to propagate this propaganda.

the military / police is used to propagate this propaganda.

while writing this : a thought appeared in my consciousness “would if this is too light? what if this makes people too uncomfortable or reactive?”

to that i exclaim : WONDERFUL!

why? because the systems and institutions of capitalism SHOULD make us uncomfortable everyday. how does it feel to witness a houseless person on the street? or someone strung out on drugs? police brutality?

the great, Kwame Ture : made it a point to remind folks of their responsibility to humanity once we are conscious! once we are awakened to the realization that this current system is violence, oppression, and psychological warfare – we must organize against it.

some important words to study and research : “neo-colonialism, white supremacy, capitalism, socialism, imperialism, dialectical materialism, struggle…” these words are all interconnected and our responsibility to humanity would be to struggle towards justice.

but whatever is good is worth the work and fight. we all have talents and gifts that can be used to the benefit of the MASSES OF THE PEOPLE. We sho’nuff have work to do and since this is a protected struggle : now is the time !
