CLARITY // PUBLICISTS

The following script is in connection to a series of conversations entitled ‘Riddle Me That…’ which is due to release at the beginning of 2019.

Yellow Journalist: Miss.Claire T! Miss.Claire T! Sorry to bother you, Miss.Claire T – But, did you want to take a moment and clarify what you meant in your last interview – you offended a lot of people by your statement.

Miss.Claire T: No, I want people to take whatever they’d like to take from it. It’s not up to me to change people’s minds about my own opinions. They will form their own opinions just the same regardless if I add clarity or not.

Yellow Journalist: You do realize that you offended a lot of people by your statement? People look up to you and respect you – especially children, you don’t feel a moral obligation to give clarity, where there is a clearly a need for one?

Miss.Claire T: Listen, people will believe what they want to. I also didn’t ask to be their role model. They connected to me because a familiar thing inside of me is inside of them. I can’t possibly know how they think or what they think – I said what I said because that’s how I felt at that moment. They are more than free to disagree but that has nothing to do with me. I don’t think a microscope should be on me just because it sounded absurd. Fuck what people wanna assume – take what I say with hot sauce or Mrs.Ddash! Season as you wish!

Yellow Journalist: Would this be an apology or way for you to have people make what they want to make out of it?

Miss.Claire T: Nah – I said what I said but that was then, and this is now. I don’t even remember what I said. I don’t have a plan – I just do whatever the situation calls for. My thoughts change, but no one would even know what I meant – if technology didn’t choose to record what I said, also context is missing – when you only highlight the clickbait that reaches everybody. So, it ain’t my fault but the media’s fault at large. Blame flat-bird!

Yellow Journalist: Sounds like you are blaming everyone except yourself here.

Miss.Claire T: Well who is the victim? The children? People and their assumptions? Or me and what I said at that time?

Yellow Journalist: I just want to know if you think differently about what you said?

Miss.Claire T: I feel differently about a lot of things. I suppose I can exercise more caution and not speak so much, but I fired my publicist cuz he was an asshole and he wanted me to say things I didn’t really believe. So, who’s the asshole? Me or him?

Yellow Journalist: Ummm? I’m not sure?

Miss.Claire T: You don’t honestly think we all think for ourselves, do you? You got to hire a team to do all that thinking. Until they start speaking for you, that’s when it can get out of hand, I chose to fire him and now I’m getting press just for speaking my own mind, ain’t that some shit? I suppose – I can offer a weak ass apology so that people go back to thinking how insincere I am for actually clarifying “It’s obviously NOT a one size fits all”. If you want me to tell you what you want to hear Mr.Yellow Journalist, you could have instead asked me “What do you wish to say to those who are offended / who would benefit from an apology that sounds sincere enough to them?”

To those people I wish to say:

I am so sorry if my words have offended you. I hope you know it’s not my intention to speak on things I know very little about. I recognize that children are so impressionable – people like myself must always respect and consider what we say. My words can easily be taken out of context and even though I really mean what I say, I don’t mean for you to be hurt. I wish for the world, clarity and above else understanding, so that people may have swaying views different from you and no one gives a damn. Life keeps going on! Seeing things differently doesn’t mean anyone is against you. And if they are, so what!? A disagreement breeds variation of perspective. Unless those disagreements and ideas are rooted in your disadvantage. I hope you can see how clarity makes a hell of a difference!

Yellow Journalist: Thank you for clarifying Miss Claire T!

Miss Claire T: Well, that’s my name which is the way of the game, ya dig?!

The Comedy (This or That)

What keeps me laughing is recognizing the many ways all of this is connected. And by “This” I mean something that is clearly what it looks like.

For however you wished to see it, it is when you believe it. that makes it real to you.

Have a front row seat and feast your eyes on that! Look at the design! Notice the craftsmanship and details that make it stand out! Look at how real it looks, even though it was meant to resemble gold but actual gold is too expensive to use. SO it had to be mocked through the agency of deception. It may not be a fraud but it was subtle enough to convince you otherwise.

There’re many elements but none quite like the element of surprise! (Although that statement is not in the least bit surprising to hear :D)

How does anything happen? Were we missing out on obvious clues because we failed to look twice?

A lot has passed by and though it happened at a rate I could measure, I lost a lot of volume in the process. (when you give and take it often comes with reduction) The time has come to arrive and put things in order. It’s a lot to laugh at in life cuz every intention is laughed at by the REALITY.

This brings me to gum. I can’t chew gum too long, my jaws become lackadaisical. I start thinking about the gum in my mouth and wondering how long have I been chewing it. I then picture cow chewing cud and it makes me wonder – why do we do this!? Is it to extract enough flavor to eventually fold it in a piece of paper?

At the very least – don’t spit the gum on the ground when you can wrap it in something. This is why I think peppermints are of the superior candy variety, and they are not banned in Singapore like gum is! 😀

At least with peppermints, there’s a conclusion of dissolve. Your breath is refreshed and you feel minty afterward. It’s been researched that gum can sharpen your attention and how you’re more likely to keep focused on a task while chewing it.

BUT THEN…

The same is said about waking up in the morning and completing puzzles to help invigorate your mind. Sleep is valuable as well as your attention. I’m laughing because I see the irony found in the battle of intention and reality. We can take a breath mint or chew gum – either one can renew the sense of agility. Mints or gum – this or that, however you get to agility is all that matters. If it makes you laugh in the process, laugh to your heart’s content!

The Dial of Your Philosophy

I rather the page of the story be bookmarked than turned completely. I’m drifting lost. No more pages left to read. A story told by the word of mouth. The art of listening is also hearing what was not being said. To be caught against offense is to not hold merit personally.

For theories and the word of the philosophers  – the tongue is to encourage thinking and questioning. If you can not ask within yourself – the wonder remains lost. The answer is far found by systems designed that you function within them. If by departing into identity, you’ll be at an advantage to learn about liberty. The liberation of the soul is real and true.

We have teachers all around us imparting knowledge that we can learn and share from. Everyone wants to assume they are right and have the answers. Some offer better reasons than others. Standing on the fence of what’s right and what’s wrong – cross parallels the difference between the points and lines.

At what length does one go through to show where they stand? Proximity and measures across the boards – determine what is heard. Some ideas are sworn into a moral code and are eventually locked in. When these ideas become locked in, you risk the danger of cutting out new information. Ideas expand from root and observations – these are unknown causes that can only be set to challenge real effects.

I think a lot of us deal with way more than we have to. We put on extra because the world shares extra. A lot of what we know is partial. Subjectivity and objectivity are often confused.

“If I could speak only when spoken to – would you listen when asked? By listening – I mean to get where one is coming from without interjecting?

Every day I’m learning what it means to speak to myself in my mind. Before I open my mouth, I deal with what my brain processes beforehand. If I speak too soon, I may trespass a meaning that wasn’t intended. Nobody wants that. Then you have to suffer a repetition of what was said – to make sure you heard correctly. You might then have to deal with the delivery of how you said it.

We should all deal with our meanings, reactions, and emotions accordingly. More often than not, we may bite too soon and chew way too fast. How can anything we consume be properly digested if we’ve forced ourselves to eat at a fast pace?

Everybody seems to be in a hurry. The race to the finish line. If we could all be punctual – but we all have or different reasons for arriving late or even early. Some people don’t wear a watch and have to constantly ask – what time is it?

I wear a watch and this gives some a slither of confidence. I’m aware of the passing seconds. This sometimes wrestles with my anxiety when I think the time is running out. If anything time reinforces an amount of control we have temporarily – time is the only element we can agree on within a frame or more.

Belief is what you want or do not desire. You can turn it off or on. There isn’t really a way to look at it unless you start really believing it. Belief is really magic. The reason why people believe is beyond our comprehension. People usually have several different moral beliefs but fail at holding them in true value. This is because when challenged on what we believe it depends on the moment of our conviction.

You might catch me on a day where I’m trading my movement for stillness. My days are fractured by the measured on how well I kept up with emotion. The feelings we have are temporal and don’t really engage any long term values. When one appears they can easily hide behind the veil. Curtains are drawn. Masks are worn. Walls are shredded. It’s the bliss of spells cast by illusion and attention. There’s the art to morality that eventually calls into question philosophy. Where do you stand as it concerns YOUR PLACE IN THIS YOUNIVERSE?

You dial what moves are made by the orbit of gravity and shit. 😀

Eye 1.

The more I live life, I’m finding it rather difficult to say “I Can’t”. The limits are becoming more and more imaginary. It’s all about intention. Sure, some factors are out of my control, but needless to say, I have the strength to do it – if I will it so. I can commit to my own goals. I can challenge myself if it means to recognize my own strength. Maybe I’ll fall down really hard, I can almost guarantee the pain that comes with it will be for my gain. The bruise is then the story and indicator as to why I stumbled.  So even if I lose, yeah – Eye 1.

This concept of ‘losing’ has been largely manipulated to mean something humiliating. This projection of shame has been perpetrated through mass media. The ones who lost, and the ones who won. Sure, competition is a good sport and quite a natural course. However, this bullying into feeling less than, because you could not achieve the particular standard given is bogus. We have to respect the effort put into the battle.
