Serenade or Fade?

communication should be easy but for a lot folks they’re wheezy to breezy ‘non-specifics.’ it becomes abstract to the point of distraction. all your numbers swallowed in subtraction. bleeding into a performance ‘extraction’. all of this, to say : you’re expected to do the work for other folks.

if you’ve ever been the one in the class who finished your work first, & expected spying eyes looking at your paper for the ‘answers’, you know very well just what party and what dancers make that scene. with a sly and glean jest, folks be making all the mess.

we should study and hold ourselves accountable as to not be caught slipping, like Jimmy! (YOO & shoutout to Slipping Jimmy, from ‘Better Call Saul– a show I did not expect to connect with as much as eye have recently!)

One of the most enjoyable aspects of the show for me is the display of contradictions. ::: Lawyers // Grifters. DA Streets // Institutions. Ethical Justice By The State // Living On The Ends To Advance To The Top. ::: There’s a lot that can be said about all sorts of life’s thrills and ills. It’s natural to acknowledge the contradictions in all of life. Positives and negatives.

everything is connected // that is to say : related to each other. historically & materially – various lines intersect. conscious & subconscious beings do not exist within a vacuum. time itself is a continuation in and of itself. which is to say : what’s happened, is about to happen , and is already happening. it didn’t stop. nor did it pause, it extended. like a song recommended by additional bells and whistle’s. it’s steadily going because it’s relational.

It’s true, the jokes write themselves, like sinister elves seeking fairy shelves encoded with dust. one could perceive the reaction to lust, as a pie without crust ???

what is a conspiracy if not mass delusion by distracting the masses of the people on learning how systems operate and how everything is connected? whether you’re talking about aliens or lizard people – if that doesn’t involve material conditions which are controlled by forces such as (exploitation, violence by the state, status quo compliance by controlling women and marginalized genders and the like) if your conspiracy is too abstract to understand, it should be discarded or rather shaved to the point of making sense and getting through to the listener. if your ‘conspiracy’ can’t be explained in 10 seconds or less, than maybe it’s best – to say less? or at least study what can be proven by history / her story/ their-story / this being the most profound glory ! one has to wonder? if thoughts leading to silence will speak like thunder! if the wind ascends or if the sound is bound?

the guess of who knows? replied : i found out, what you about _ and it’s clinging to the clout. why chase, if all you’ll do is erase and out pace your need for examining grace. take space….lest your mistake the window for your face !

To This the proclamation was interrogated: Shall I Serenade or Fade?

whether you spend or trade
it’s counting to something
like a ‘thing’ that would sing

when the phone would ring…

Shall I Go On Or Expire N2…

20 OF 01 feat. 4 444 a.k.a. 2

workout playlist: if you care to jam while you may stretch, do yoga, lift weights, and exercise body form 💪🏾🕺🏾 (CAUT⚠️ON: it will include some dancing but that’s to be expected.) it’s a mix of many songs of varying emotions but a general theme is encoded in the folded harmonies.

this is also in honor of the sublime found in stretching and melodic enchantment. i must say every song resonates with some deep correlation, most of which deal with numbers. (also fumbles) a lot of CrUmBlEs, left on rugs, carpets, and wood. but safe to say, it’s all good!

please do enjoy!

“ If you wave and say goodbye
You will not see me cry
I’ll grab the pillows from our bed
And I’ll knock these stones against my head
sananda never fails at creating a rotational melodic groove, that stings you. this is evidence of that notion.
“ trapped away too long, tired of all the lies! you can’t play me for a fool, cuz i’m leaving it all behind! i’m leaving it all behind!” this dude ROCKS! talk about a groove! one of my favorite guitar solos of ALL TIME! i did like 70 burpees because of this song 😀
“We are strong
We can hold on to each other if we try
And make it right, for you and I
There’s no goodbyes.” ahhh
don’t you miss 80’s pop ballads like this? so extra! kind of like me!
“And I am not afraid to try it on my own I don’t care if I’m right or wrong I’ll live my life the way I feel No matter what I’ll keep it real, you know Time for me to do it on my own” NOBODY CAN SING LIKE WHITNEY. this song proves as much. every time i listen? i get so emotional! but that’s another jam for another day!
If U live N the hills…
Listen
U take 2 many pills
Cuz U’ve lost the thrill
Against ur own will
Stand up & B strong
as much as i love this song and that this was recently released, there’s too much “clicking” within this song. like WAY too much to be a released song. i don’t even have the best ears and i notice it, it finally stops a little half way in, but G whiz yo! nonetheless, great harmonies and the sisters sounds great!!!
“I’m not accustomed to wearing my feelings
In a place that’s so obvious to see
But if eyes don’t lie
There’s a chance that you are not fooling yourself
and me…”
this song is pristinely cinematic and always creates a space of grace, stevie never misses!
“I love you, you love me But we must be sure We may be the best of friends But in the end, it’s true love that wins.”
this song brings back childhood thrills in many colors of sepia and in my
mom’s toyota sequoia!. *we wore this CD out!* Karen Clark absolutely flutters in this song. shoutout to J.Moss backing vocals too!
“loveeee, so many people use your name in vain.” i’ll never forget the moment i heard this song when it first came out. it’s sung flawlessly. one of those songs that just grooves.
“From the very first time I rest my eyes on you, girl
My heart says follow t’rough
But I know, now, that I’m way down on your line
But the waitin’ feel is fine
So don’t treat me like a puppet on a string
‘Cause I know I have to do my thing
Don’t talk to me as if you think I’m dumb
I wanna know when you’re gonna come – soon..”
i don’t want to wait in vain! not for love, whether deep below or high above. i don’t want to wait in vain, cuz’ there’s so much in a name.
“could it be that you, are the one that i longed for : are you…my dream come true?”
dedicated to a special somebody, may you be revitalized in your recovery ❤️‍🩹

LINK // ERROR

The following script is in connection to a series of conversations entitled ‘Riddle Me That…’ which is due to release at the beginning of 2019.

Inward: Yo, Zoomy!

Zoomy: Yes – Inward?

Inward: Did you get that link I sent you about the changes about to happen on the Internet?

Zoomy: I didn’t notice you sent me anything, when and where did you send it to me?

Inward: About a week ago – I sent it through flatbird.

Zoomy: Nah, I deleted flat bird on my phone – I prefer shookie instead! What was the link about?

Inward: It was a long article, but it really broke down the immediate changes that the Internet will face. The surveillance will expand. “They” will have more access to what you like and monitor what you don’t click. It’s very serious stuff and the article explained how we can’t do much about it. It’s a fascinating read!

Zoomy: I’d love to read that! If you can send it to my email, that would be better! I read my emails often. You know I’m old school! Social media is a drag and I get so many links from various people – I don’t always get time to read it all. I miss NewsPapers where you can read all the local and international news in one good setting. I love the idea of actually turning the page.

Inward: The Newspaper is a fun and classic way of knowing information, but you got to wait longer for it. Plus too much paper can be bad for the environment. I’m glad we can send things instantly inside of a matrix. The future is wireless, yo! I prefer links because of how they are in real time. I like to speed read on the go!

Zoomy: That’s cool but I prefer taking my time to read. I miss the days when you got a new record and you could just pop it on your stereo and sit down to listen to it in one sitting. It created an experience that made you pay more attention to the details. The same goes for reading, I don’t mind reading sometimes on the go but most of the time – people don’t click the full articles. They extrapolate as much as possible form one single headline. “Wife finds man cheating on her with his assistant” You’d think that would tell you all you need to know but if you click the article, you’d find a deeper meaning with the context that a headline just can’t offer. People just see the man cheated and goes throughout their day knowing yet again, men are trash – etc. It’s not the coolest way to learn information. A headline isn’t an article, but people just read it anyway. Everyone is sending links to each other and just want them to read it and respond. But most people don’t even keep up with it because something new happens every day.

Inward: Well, after all of that, I’m not sure if I’ll ever send you anything *laughs jokingly*

Zoomy: Feel free to send me anything you find useful. I prefer a good laugh and something informative though. I could care less about XYZ getting surgery or whom they decide to marry or sensational stories of celebrities. It’s fun to talk about in passing but that’s about it.

Inward: I find celebrities fascinating. I think they are the new gods of the modern time. We look up them. We believe in them. We hold them accountable.

Zoomy: I wish more people hold them accountable but usually people let them get away with anything when their PR teams offer a half-ass apology. Regardless, I could care less about their efforts in this life unless they are contributing to the advancement of society by offering their wealth as a loop for those who need it most.

Inward: Whether you care enough or not they hold so much power and being interested in some of their leisure activities don’t harm anyone.

Zoomy: It doesn’t benefit anyone really either. You only care as much as you want to.

Inward: Touché! But I met you through the internet and that link was as random as the article I sent you on Flatbird! So I’m gonna have to get shookie and send it to you!

Zoomy:Cool!

The Big But (Discover Naunce)

We all hear it more often than not. The BIG BUTT!! It comes in around the corner with a fancy strut. The more someone keeps talking with this and that, there it goes. BUTT!

The negation because there’s obviously something we have not considered. The Butt comes in tight/loose jeans, yoga pants, long or short skirts which allows the wind to come to reveal the negation – you can’t always be mad at that, ain’t nothing to be mad at.

That’s what people pray for sometimes. A different approach which you couldn’t see in the far distance.

We can’t always escape it, in fact escaping it just means you weren’t willing to listen. There’s a lesson hidden in the ‘Also’. Even ‘But’ can bring a fresh perspective. The power of the mind allows a constant refresh.

Our abilities to think for ourselves is a vital element in our evolutionary development. Thinking on our own terms all while also acknowledging the space and opinions of others. Our minds are fascinating discoveries to fantasy and real stuff. How are we able to separate and distinguish the two?

There’s also the blurred middle where things can take a unique form and transcend fantasy and reality.

I like to call this middle ‘The Discovery.’ In it – we’re searching endlessly. From the top or at the bottom. The more you keep searching and driving – the destination becomes less important. The discovery is a loop that changes beats through rhythmic chords.

The middle is seen as discovering why the ‘But’ was brought up in the first place. You can take every moment to learn from the glance of ‘but’ – although at times we can benefit from the silence of mystery.

I was once told solid advice from a colleague: “Consider removing the ‘Butt’ // when it shows up as a big ass negation that stands in the way of everything that precedes it. “But” can be exclusive and isolating “And” is more inclusive and welcoming.

You can’t consider the options when you are far too quick to remove the possibility by affording the impossible by the ‘butt strut’. This is true.

There’s a lot to know which can be discovered by us saying nothing at all. Unpacking nuance is an abrasive but necessary adventure, we must be willing to enter into. There’s a lot that we miss because we forget how much is nuanced. To this point, But can work to our advantage; when we know how to use it.
