WEIGH THE MINUTE! TYPO OR FATE? (CH.7 : TITHES AND OBLIGATIONS)

*This is a 10 chapter endeavor that will be completed on December 21, 2020. The remaining 3 chapters will resume respectively as follows :

12.7.2020 // 12.14.2020 // 12.21.2020 //*

“everybody wants to shout and dance when the message is relevant…”TOMSON understood this to be true. the relevance of a story matters to where people are in life. convenient stores have higher prices than the *MARKET***because quicker access in the capitalist system, means an elevated price tag. this also explains, the vast amount of people drawn to messages which are engineered to make them feel good.

you do not need any formal training to be a guru or spiritual adviser. if you have the right amount of personality matched with charisma and understanding of your target *MARKET*, you can go anywhere without much effort. people will begin to flock to you like ants onto fresh fruit. TOMSON started to see : how the church could be a ran as a business where the funds being put into it manifested itself for individual production instead of everyone taking and owning the means of their production / investment.

TOMSON was taught, as a young kid to always give back. if G-D, blessed you to accumulate wealth, you should give back a small portion of that wealth back to G-D. now of course, if G-D was ever hungry – he would not tell us! “if i were hungry, i would not tell you, for the world and its fullness are mine! (psalms 50:12)

TOMSON began to interpret these scriptures as symbolic parables of investment and return; but for the sake of the argument the church used – he obliged the notion. if you are blessed and you can be a blessing, why wouldn’t you want to? at both HOLY FIRE ON THE HILL AND OVERFLOWING RIVERS the church always sang “you can’t beat G-D’s giving no matter how you try.” however, you were encouraged to try especially if you had the means to. in fact, even if you didn’t have much – there was always a story in the bible of someone who didn’t have MUCH but still gave her LAST for the kingdom of heaven.

the story of the widow who GAVE the last bit of what she HAD to live on comes to TOMSON’s mind. (mark 12:44) thus, the church saw those poor and meek as the very ones capable of giving, for G-d will return to you a hundredfold! TOMSON remember staying up at late nights to watch channel 703 : “you got to sow a seed! to reap a harvest, you must sow in the fertile ground!” he would hear from preachers on television.

the fruits and vegetables can’t manifest until you sow. how much you get back depends on how much you invest, and so it goes. the way PROSPERITY preachers turned around the most basic stories and scriptures to their advantage amazed TOMSON tremendously. the act of giving back made sense if streamed from a natural inclination.

OVERFLOWING RIVERS knew this very well and constantly reminded people “you must each decide in your heart how much to give. and don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “for G-D loves a person who gives cheerfully.” (2 corinthians 9:7).

there is not as much pressure to give according to the desires of your own heart, but the OBLIGATION came fully reinforced with tithing. as a child growing up at HOLY FIRE ON THE HILL, TOMSON remembered how he his father YELLOW JOURN would give he and his siblings weekly allowances that would mostly go towards snacks and other junk food. YELLOW JOURN still advised that one should separate a 10% from the sum of everything received . TOMSON remembered getting 5.00$ and how good it felt to have that money to use on anything he wanted. he’d deduct 50 cents for G-d and keep a whole 4.50$ to himself. it made sense to him & everyone at his church.

However, shortly after moving to Albuquerque, TOMSON and RAPTUS started to question the specifics behind tithing. was it biblical? and by biblical – TOMSON and RAPTUS sought to source if tithing historically made sense? he frightened in thinking – tithing 10% was another TRADITION he had been made hostage to without reasonable thinking? after all most of the scriptures he remembered about tithing came from the old testament. he can still hear the church missionary GLADYS read with passionate conviction // malachi 3:8-12

“8 will a man rob god? yet ye have robbed me. but ye say, wherein have we robbed thee? in tithes and offerings.
9 ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.
10 bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the lord of hosts, if i will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
11 and i will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the lord of hosts.
12 and all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the lord of hosts.”

as mentioned in chapter 5, TOMSON was raised with preachers reading whatever they wanted to in the text. (EISEGESIS). this is probably the best example of remixing a scripture to say whatever one wishes for it to say. somebody would read the scripture and then ask the same question, Malachi asked the people of Israel. “will a man rob G-D?” INDEED, you have robbed me! not only was it possible to rob G-d apparently most people were robbing him in tithes and offering and this provided a hefty guilt trip even for TOMAS – who still feared *now and then* landing in hell with gasoline trousers!

even in the KNEW TESTAMENT it was written “woe unto you, scribes and pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cumin and have omitted the weightier matters of the law: judgment, mercy, and faith. these ought ye to have done and not to leave the other undone.” (matthew 23:23) TOMSON and RAPTUS were briefly conflicted on what to believe about it. so, they studied some more and made sense out of it.

TOMSON documented the following notes in his Journal :

• tithes were given to levities and priests, but they’re no levities and priests now. besides he was pretty sure they belonged to a specific jewish line, and he knew everyone to be gentiles.

• when Jesus talked about tithing he was doing so before the new covenant. of course, he kept the law, because he was born under it. when he died and resurrected, the new covenant came into place.

• we are not under the old covenant although we can still give cheerfully without the error of forced indoctrination.

TOMSON began to see that tithing served several valuable purposes back then, but we are over here now. TOMSON never stop giving but also realized, a lot people did not have much to give. money isn’t easy to come by if you’re living in conditions that are abrasive due to the lack of access. he thought often about the disparities some people could not easily escape, no matter how much faith they were encouraged to have.

“faith and FATE could NOT keep people out of poverty – not if the system that brought them to it is not properly challenged!”

even if they gave the very least of what they had to give. why was the preaching of tithing so important? turns out churches are like houses or as PASTOR GRIN would say “the church is the hospital for the soul”. well, patients must pay for those services or at least the building where those services are given. *you’d think the church would be ran truly socialist instead of PROPHETS PROFITING!*

giving cheerfully may mean understanding the requirements of what keeps the lights on, water on, and for the pastor looking like he just arrived at the gates of heaven.

“s3w a seed, to reap a harvest!” this message works again because if you tell a story correctly to the right audience, you’ll be paid accordingly. these preachers are professional scammers and pimps because they have scouted what people want. WHAT DO PEOPLE WANT? they want various things because if one can package a people’s desires in a shinny wrapping paper and put a bow around it – they won’t bother to open it to see what’s inside! they would rave about the paper linen first! said TOMSON one day after talking with RAPTUS.

TOMSON began to see that : MOST of the money never went directly to the community but instead to those sitting in the pulpit. TOMSON grew to believe that – HEALTHY policy is part of organizing a civilization. our clothes must be organized correctly just the same. socks for feet. hats for heads. pants for legs. but, what happens when you outgrow your clothes? when your shirt is too small, and your favorite pants are too big for you?

Riddle Me That?!

This project stems from the implications, questions, and declarations found in conversation. When talking to someone, we are reminded how often we miss the point of what was said. I liken ‘Riddle Me That?’ to a narrated mini-cartoon series with the protagonist being a question mark (?) and the antagonist an exclamation mark (!).

If you would like to support this project – CLICK HERE and purchase it for 7.00$ or subscribe to my Patreon. I appreciate your investment, incredibly!

To fully enjoy this, it is recommended that you listen closely otherwise you’ll just hear a bunch of people talking without full context.

And what’s the point of that anyway?

Noise and Music essentially are the same thing but they are not. Noise flows in and out of consciousness. Music is something different and we all recognize that difference. The tone and structure of a musical chord can be bent in fascinating ways. How often do we pay attention to the things that are said? In other words: are we getting Shookie or are we getting flat in how we communicate?

Studies suggest that as a society we are talking less to each other but more through the projection of social media. We got a long way to go, but we are closer to the destination when we condense what we are saying. Getting lost in the sauce means saying things that may not be registered. However, the beauty of a question is that it stands to expect a reply. We don’t always have the proper answer, but the search for meaning carries throughout our longing to find out.

Recurring reasons provide enough evidence to suggest – what was there all along was JUST around the corner. We use symbols and parallels (parables even) to help explain our points in clever ways. We don’t always “get through”. Sometimes we have to Zoom, Inwardly.

Do you often find yourself rewinding past conversations? How often do we miss the various ‘signs’ people are giving? Ever heard someone say “that would be like saying XYZ” or “that was a red flag…”. Everything in conversation is a symbol but at the same time, nothing should be taken too seriously.

I created these scripts in the effort of acknowledging the various ways we are in conflict yet in harmony with one another. It’s a comedy! It was also a challenge to myself to do something different yet familiar.

(THERE’S A JUSTIFICATION FOR ANYTHING THAT’S THE REAL RIDDLE! HAHA!)

So, What’s the point of all the scrips? The conversation? The chatter in the background? Why are you reading? WHY AM I WRITING? To these questions – the answer remains that:

“Some are willing to unravel the parallel.”

Warehouse Blues (The Go)

Since I have been working, my fingers have been in a progressive attack just to gain some respective cash! I never thought I would work in a Warehouse, but I have met such good friends and they made waking up at 5:00AM in the morning worth my sleepless doubts. At one time – All I did was put stickers on boxes. For pretty much all day for 8 hours (With the exception of lunch break and me foolin’ around!

My daily routine was as follows: Make A Box – Tape The Box Together – Put The Colgate Toothpaste Inside – Tape It Back – And Put It On The Pallet!

Sounds easy, doesn’t it? WELL It was, very clean cut, and when you’re making jokes and having good times with your friends, time is pretty much non-existent. That job lasted for exactly a month. It was a temporary to hire job and the ‘Colgate Project’ is NOW over. It ended May 4,2012, but I thought ‘Bigger & Brighter Things’ were ahead. After I got my check, my manager called me and 2 of my co-workers out and asked if we would be willing to partake in another job. I was a bit apprehensive seeing as I have developed good friendships with my other co-workers.

But I had to agree, because I need the money and instead of waking up at 5:00AM; I would wake up at 2:00PM, but seeing as it’s a full-time job, that meant I would get out at 10:00PM. I just started getting familiar to waking up early, and the only complaint I had at the other job is waking up so early. It was easy breezy.

It was such a chill job! The boss was very funny, and we constantly laughed and had conversation worthy of mention. Everyone was nice, The job was so easy, and while it was HEAVILY repetitive, and you already knew what to do when you got there…It never really played against the movement of waking up. I would do anything to get it back.

BECAUSE today marked the day; I started this NEW ‘Temp To Hire Job’ AND it was CHAOS!

It was my first day and the manager expected me to be at a fast pace as all of the other workers. It was so much to remember, and when I asked questions, it seemed sinful. He was a very nice guy, but his expectations were far too high for it being my first day. I did almost 6 jobs in one job. 😀

I worked UP a black sweat!! My work outfit has never been so stained…with sweat and dirt…

Image

I recited the same statement so many times. “I am not working here, I am going to QUIT”. I am not one to quit, especially a job that I really need. BUT my progress was rebuked constantly and going from place to place, just put so much burden on me. I had to lift 20-40 boxes at such a rate that really perplexed my strength. Alas, Myself along with the other 2 co-workers decided to leave the job. EVEN, when I woke up, I predicted and sensed a feeling of hesitation. It just seemed crazy, and I was right!

There are other jobs out there, and I know my work will be met by a glorious new chapter!

There is a work in many other aspects of my life and I feel the work that exists is a preparation for another business to be seen.

Summarized Notion For Thought: When you awaken to the progressive complaint, that requests a faster pace, opposing to your own motion of detail. Go along and DO the work. When the sweat soaks your outfit, and the management outbursts their own calling. Smile and act as if their notions will qualify you as a good worker. But once you CLOCK OUT; Say: Revolution Time Has Come TODAY – Because It Took A Rebuked Face To See The Same Decay; Like The Chocolate Of WONKA, In The Sun They’ll Melt Away, But As Far Me..I’ll Laugh & Go Into The Mountains Where The Waters Flow..Back To The Rivers Of ‘The Go’. (I’m Gone)
