RIGHTEOUS SCANDAL

the sigh that lent unspoken words, no one has ever heard. whispered prose which stirred sought to answer the blank space.

Featuring a scandal made righteous:

come here! You righteous scandal, I think you are a bit more to handle!

But I’m willing to catch you, if you stand in the way of getting got.

cuz’ you’re smoking hot _ I rather be denied than to not be given any chance.

to imagine of our sweaty dance – it may be a proven “righteous scandal.”

a candle much too hot, that soon it’ll burning.

melting by the woe of learning.

how can’t eye see? what’s lit up right in front of me.

I have no choice according to the inner doubting voice.

but my eyes clothes with fashionable express, textures and buttons draped with incomparable dress.

a feeling I can’t compare, as your colors endeavor to void the unfair.

if given the opportunity , I’d renew my immunity

The Encounter (of The Bullet)

You can not always dodge the bullet meant for you. Some people come to the party already locked and loaded. By preparing yourself for any possible encounter with danger you still risk the encounter of a wildcard. To be shot is to be healed by the medication of bandages and possible surgical procedure. *Unless shot in the head or if the bullet punctured a vital point.* We can’t always miss the bullet especially if there’s one designed for you. If a sniper is out chilling on a skyscraper somewhere, they have you in target and nothing can fully protect you from it.

It’s a safe comfort to know, at most times this isn’t the case. If you’re free from pissing off the wrong people, there’s no bullet with your name on it. At least not an actual bullet, but if we’re talking about a metaphorical bullet dressed as a threat?

Those you won’t be able to protect yourself from. Nowadays people go through extreme measures to shame and silence if you come with criticism. We can see how this clearly happened with Nicki Minaj in her recent interview where she implied women should not “sell sex” and to know their worth. This sparked various comments from people challenging the root of her statements to get an objective point of view.

However, Nicki actually responded to someone on Twitter personally by not only attacking him but encouraging her ‘barbs’ to follow suit to teach him a lesson. This resulted in thousands of death threats, revealing his personal phone numbers and address, and personal attacks on his Twitter page. Nicki Minaj has millions of followers and he has only over 240k. This is an example of abused power at the expense to publicly embarrass you because of a disagreement.

The internet has become a place where we consistently release our disagreements and even go as far as talking against someone the moment they disagree. Threat culture seeks to dimish and silence those that simply steer in another direction. If you express an opinion of someone who’s favorable their army so to speak can come at you unawares. I experienced this recently with another popular psychologist who has gotten a fair amount of attention – Jordan Peterson.

It started out as a simple debate he had with Fry, Dyson, and Goldberg about Political Correctness. I watched a small portion of their debate and in this clip, I happen to agree with Dyson a bit more than Peterson. (I eventually watched the whole debate and I happen to validate all of the points they offered) I expressed my reasons for this and expressed them but people *by the hundreds* came to tell me how wrong my views were.

Luckily, I don’t have a large platform as of yet and I have not gained nearly as much attention as some people have but if I did – I wouldn’t see the end of it. This is the case for anyone online especially now who may encounter a mob just by simply expressing a difference of thought.

The Encounter of a bullet. The Encounter of a mob. The announcement of our fears may invite them into our psyche. However, we can still speak out against the threat. This reminded me of a video I made 3 years ago. It must have been inspired about the same things that are inspiring me to bring it back out again. I remember uploading it but I did very little to remind people I made it. In other words, there was hardly any promotion or tags to get it out there. UNTIL NOW.

Oh, the wonders of the internet. It never goes away.

I’m only saying what a lot of people have said throughout history only that I’m sitting down for seven minutes talking into the camera the old school ay. No edits, no filters. I hope you can find something in it and share it with your friends and yes, make it go viral or at least on your timeline somewhere! 😀

Balloons & Bubbles

Apples & Oranges // Tomato’s & Apples

That’s like comparing “apples and oranges” well more like tomatoes and apples. I might like tomato’s but not enough in my fruit salad, you dig? It ain’t the same but what really is? Various things share a common ancestry but that does not make it the same species.

It was only a week ago, I discovered Bumble Bee’s do not produce honey like honey bees.
While this may seem like a clear difference – I would classify bees as just those insects that produce honey. I was pressed to find out how wrong I was for so long. Recently, I saved a big ass bumble bee that entered the room because I remembered we have to do our part in ‘Saving the bees for the production of honey. So, here was I worried about the state of bees which doesn’t even produce honey. Which made me wonder about life – something in me wanted to save it because of the benefit it had for the collective. Selfish Much? Indeed.

Many things in life share more in common than not. Did you know “Humans share 50% of our DNA with a banana?” THIS MUST MEAN SOMETHING. Cannibalism right? Likely not. The source of facts is another reason we examine why some statements while they may be true benefits from an additional fact. In other words, just because you can sit in the chair doesn’t mean you should. *Especially if the chair has a broken leg*. This generation is like many others in that we know more than the ones before because of the prevalence of the Internet and how we fit in the social media bubble.

Make no mistake about it – everything we process on the internet is indeed one large bubble. A bubble built on surveillance. Very recently several of my most used apps have ‘updated’ their terms and agreement. I’ve been paying more recent attention to this because these terms may not have my best interest. I’ve learned to accept that when using platforms that are not mine, they have the legal right to change the rules. As long as they let us know what we’re in for if we choose to keep using their services. I was very surprised by how much of what I see is based on what they think I want to see. I like a picture of a cat because cats are cute, not because I want to buy cat food. Some of these algorithms are not only wrong but invasive. It’s like someone buying you a pack of porcelain tile because they heard you mention once that porcelain tile made more sense in a bathroom than wooden floors. The connection shouldn’t be that large of a gap but in most cases on social media targeted ad they are.

A lot of what we hold dear to us is flying away on a string. Bubbles and Balloons share a lot in common. They both float away (Balloons with helium, bubbles with air) and they both can pop without sudden notice. It’s not until you move into another place until you realize just how much you have been keeping. Holding onto that thing we convince ourselves we need to keep when really they’re just collecting dust. When you look through all of it – you end up throwing away most of it. Only keep what you use, only buy what you can’t refuse.

I want to free space and time so that I do not spend too much time consumed by one thing. To help with this, I organized my phone screen to enable a deeper productivity.

I had 3 screens previously LMAO.

This has freed a lot of my time with the help of me remembering – Social Media can just be Social Drainage. It can take up a lot of time and space utilized for other parts of the day. There’s an amazing TED talk, I watched recently which helped put in perspective how we engage the world through our phones and the social bubble we tend to trap ourselves in.

While holding onto the balloon and bubble so closely, never forget it is always so close to popping and breaking away.

Ambiguous Windows

The rise of the enchanting normal
Separates the odd and the desolate
Ambiguous windows are imagination’s fate

I know that revelation is out there
I can sense the tap on my shoulder
Once turning away from it – the touch persisted and became older
I Can’t find the source of my irritation
Might it be the mind leading me to imagination?

The windows of my confessions are ambiguous
The doors to my certainty are locked away
The key to my access is chained to a combination of gray

Everybody’s looking for a story to relate
Looking at a situation that encourages them to no longer wait
Although I can play recommended part
I can’t convince myself to start

The windows of my confessions are ambiguous
The doors to my certainty are locked away
The key to my access is chained to a combination of gray

When lost to the present idea – I’m pulled by the culture of group think
Everyone abiding by their own ink
If we can believe our own rosy illusion
Why should we run away at confusion

I’ve looked in the mirror far too less
My reflection is anyone’s guess
I much rather look out the window to find anything that can be
Imagination removes the veil and sets us free

Curious Causation

1

It takes screws, nails. hinges, tape, glue, etc. We can get there using one method but if we are looking for an effective build – wouldn’t Structure be plural?

2

It’s either Jesus or what? Eternal damnation? A life without joy? Must the answer include Jesus? Imagination has the power to whip us into exclusive multiple choice.

3

Jesus is often seen as an example. If you ain’t doing what Jesus did or living out of what Jesus has done. There seems to be a condemnation set for you. Until you live – YOUR LIFE. This life is yours and the moment is yours to live!

4

All of us SHOULD take care of each other. At various times, we get it confused and feel it’s just about where we are going. It doesn’t hurt to forget – we are all in this together. Whether we like this or not – how we respond to service to one another is what makes the difference.

5

This is something we have heard all of our lives. Humans assign meaning where they choose to. I suppose, if one is to stare at their life and why they’re here – they’d have questions and connect answers to what’s been revealed so far. If they choose to value their lives to a destiny, that’s their prerogative.

6

Belief is how philosophers and psychiatrists spend a lot of their time. Without belief, a lot of people would be out of a job and determination.

7

If you’re anything like me. You’re curious. Curious as to why things are and what motivates us to arrive at the various conclusions. What caused this? I don’t think we’ll ever fully arrive at all of the questions we have. That’s OK because life is a trip! I ain’t gonna be tripping on how you experience the fullness of your trip! These series of questions mainly dealt with ‘Belief’ and how are our hearts are conditioned to see.  I want to mainly remind people – It ain’t about what you don’t believe in.

A lot of us have the answers already. How do you treat people? How are you being there for people? When will people start seeing that empathy is a two-way street? Some of my questions may offend or merely ignite your curiosity. In the process of writing this book – more questions have come to surface. It’s safe to say – the book is writing itself. It won’t entirely center around ‘FAITH, GOD, HEAVEN, HELL, EMPATHY’ or any other serious concepts. There’s gonna be a lot of fiction and dreamlike conclusions. Through it all, I’ve come to realize – Humans and Nature are the creators to most of what we see.

Who’s to blame? HUMANS. People make art and people invent exactly what they want them to see. Distortion of the facts is just as real as the clear reason some put up walls.I believe in people – people are capable of treating each other with respect. THIS ISN’T ALWAYS EASY BECAUSE PEOPLE CAN BE THE TRUEST ASSHOLES IN ALL OF LIVING EXISTENCE. (More on that later) I am constantly understanding the role of religion, philosophy, politics, etc in human consciousness. In terms of how we got here – there’s a different answer for each branch of knowledge. It’s not always about being right or wrong. You don’t have to hang it on your wall or frame it – but explore it. Sit with it. Let life consistently be a compass. We got a long way to go and so much more to learn. This is a cause for celebration!
